Welcome to Babee Book Club!
Babee Book Club is a family growth and development studio that specializes in the social and emotional development of the entire family! We are a third space for families and individuals to come together and build community.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to bring back community villages! We want to provide a space where families and individuals can engage in their communities and create bonds with like minded people. We also pride ourselves on offering an alternative choice to traditional education settings.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to change what education and learning look like in this country. We want to create a community of people who are confident, literate, critically thinking, and active participants in the world around them.
What We Do
Our program incorporates English-Language Arts Standards from the Georgia Department of Education and curated themes based on the interests of the children. Lots of learning can be incorporated and created based solely off of a child’s natural curiosity. Our session runs alongside the school year with camps in the summer. Class is included in the membership! Class meets once weekly for 90 minutes each time. Each week we will explore a new theme, while building upon skills learned in the weeks prior. Our class structure is below.
Who We Are
Babee Book Club is a literacy club that focus on all things literature, grammar, social/emotional development, and fun! We were designed with 1989 in mind! Years ago, humans used to indulge in books to learn everything they knew. Today, we are implementing that same thirst for knowledge into our program. We are going to challenge critical thinking and investigative skills to be reliant upon ourselves to find information, instead of a search engine. Our main purpose is to meet each student where they are and to provide an environment that encourages learning through books and play. Babee Book Club is a great supplemental program for students who may be behind on the reading curve and need more individualized instruction, preschoolers transitioning into school environments, kids who need more social time and less screen time, and kids who have an overall love for books and crafts!

Meet Tylasia
Hi! My name is Tylasia and I’m so excited to work with your family! After receiving my B.I.S. in Human Learning and Development from Georgia State University, life has taken me on the curvy path of finding my calling. This program was inspired by my years-long journey as a gymnastics coach, nanny, and most importantly, a mother. I designed this program with the desire to bring community learning and social engagement to families all over metro Atlanta. I believe education should be a fun, natural process that engages the world around us. I also believe that human growth and development doesn’t stop at adolescence and is a lifelong journey well into adulthood. I hope to inspire my families, kids and their grown-ups alike, to always enjoy the continuous process of learning, to be active participants in their communities, and to always listen to the young voice in their head telling them to just PLAY.
Fun Facts About Tylasia:
I LOVE children’s books. I especially love discovering new libraries with amazing children’s sections. They’re always so bright, welcoming, and magical.
My favorite book of all time is Dr. Seuss’s “Oh How Far You’ll Go”
My Ultimate Life Goal:
In my lifetime I aspire to reimagine education in our society. I hope to create a school system based on community, where we learn not only academics but also learn how to be functioning members of our communities. School should be a fun place to learn anything the mind can imagine and even the things it can’t, for children and their families.
“You gotta imagine what’s never been.”
~Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees
